Today I grabbed an old plastic file box
and noticed you had written
MEMORIES
in red permanent ink
I’ll always recognize
your all capitals
your handwriting
used to write
LOVE ALWAYS
I tried to wipe off all the
MEMORIES
with a Clorox wipe
ironic, I thought
I’m literally trying to wipe away the
MEMORIES
your handwriting of any word
triggering
but
MEMORIES
is taking it too far
Thankfully the dry erase trick
did the trick
I redacted the word with the
black low odor dry erase marker
wiped off the
MEMORIES
without a trace
and now I just have to find a giant
dry erase
to erase
the actual
MEMORIES
